Shenique Phillips, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on women’s health, preventive medicine, metabolic wellness, and hormone optimization. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Berkeley College in Woodland Park, New Jersey, and is passionate about helping women achieve long-term health through an integrative, individualized approach to care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Shenique worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Katz Women’s Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island, where she supported women through some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments. Her clinical background also includes teaching and mentoring nursing students, reflecting her strong commitment to patient education, advocacy, and empowerment.
At TārāMD, Shenique provides a comprehensive, root-cause-focused approach to women’s wellness, with clinical interests including medical weight management, peptide therapy, hormone optimization, preventive care, and whole-body wellness. She believes that every patient deserves personalized care tailored to their unique physiology, lifestyle, and health goals. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, active listening, and evidence-based strategies designed to support sustainable, long-term well-being.
Driven by a desire to better advocate for her patients and provide more comprehensive care, Shenique pursued advanced practice training to expand her ability to guide women through every stage of health and hormonal transition. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
